Next Friday 27 of September of 2019 has been convened in the Social Center the celebration of a festival of popular culture to celebrate the 20 years of the Bernat Capó prize.
The celebration consists of two parts, both in the same place:
At 20: 30 hours there will be an act of recognition with the assistance of the majority of the winners of the past editions of the award, who will receive an award from the deputy of culture, Xavier Rius, the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, or the president of the Macma, José Ramiro, among others. No new prizes will be released since this year has not been called.
As is tradition, in the award ceremony there will be live music, the Borriana Big band in quintet formation. The humorist and actor César Monzonís will also take part and will lead the act Maria Josep Poquet.
And before, at 18: 30, there will be the round table Present and future of research and dissemination of popular culture in the Valencian country? in which Josep Vicent Frechina, director of the Caramella Popular Culture Magazine, Rafa Martínez, director of the Center for Traditional Culture of the Pusol School Museum, Maria José Hernandorena, President of the Valencian Anthropology Association (AVA), Francesc Tamarit, will participate Director of the Valencian Museum of Ethnology, and moderator Nuria Sendra, Editor of Edicions del Bullent.
