The Ordinary General Assembly of Dénia members will be next Tuesday 30 of July, that is to say, that the social mass will still have to wait 15 more days to listen to the project of the current presidents.
Some explanations that from the club have been given through a press release. In one of its paragraphs, the reasons for the delay in convoking members are explained: "The template is about to be closed in its entirety and will shortly be presented. At the same time it is carrying out an arduous work of administrative management to register the statutes of the club (that by the way, had not registered since the time of Nicolás Merle as president) and update the census of partners according to the current legislation . Therefore, it is delaying the call for elections that we know are necessary, as well as the convening of the Ordinary General Assembly that has agreed to hold the next 30 day of July in a place to be determined and where all these issues will be discussed ".
In another section of the statement, the managers explain the reasons for the continuity of the leaders to the position of the club: "Following the resignation of Gema Estrela as president, the board of directors that accompanied him has been obliged to maintain the management of this club, first in the figure of the vice president, and later in the figure of the current president ".
It informs the social mass that the club has not stopped working, yes as the reduction of the budget that has been made for the next season. "It is important to emphasize it, given that it is an unaffordable budget, excessive and far above the demands and possibilities of a preferential club. In fact, it is twice the amount budgeted for that season's income and has been the source of all the vices that this team has endured during the season. The most remarkable thing has been the excellent attitude shown by the first team's staff ".
The statement continues to give an account of what was done by the youth teams and the formation of a first team with nearby players. "Obviously, before reaching the middle of the season payments were defaulted and a stage of tension was entered at all levels", they assume from the club. "All this is what the current board tries to avoid and therefore establish a budget according to the circumstances, and consequently the outflows of money have to be reduced to absolutely necessary items. Work is being done to form a close, committed and compatible team with the economy of the club, and therefore avoid situations like those experienced in the previous season ”.
