When the dates of Christmas, the Municipal School of Football Base Dénia organizes its already classic City of Dénia 8-a-side Christmas Tournament. On this occasion it turns 20, so it is already one of the veterans in those held throughout the Valencian Community.
It is a sporting event that will take place in the Rodat field, on Sunday 8 of December, during a day. Games are played in both fields at the same time and usually attract a large number of fans who come to see in action the promises of local football and other foreign teams participating in it.
The poster of this edition in the Benjamin category is made up of six teams that have been divided into two groups of three. In the 1 group, EM FB Dénia, EMF Pedreguer and Valencia CF will play. In the 2 group are Levante UD, EM Ondara and CF La Nucía.
In the Alevín category there are also six teams distributed as follows: the 1 group is made up of the EM FB Dénia, CEF El Verger and Valencia CF, while in the 2 group there are Levante UD, FB Teulada-Moraira and CF La Nucía.
The day will start at 9: 30 hours with two games of the Benjamin category, the juvenile category will start at 10 hours. A league between all the teams in the same group will be played, with the two finals accessing the semifinals.
They will cross playing first of one group versus second of the other. The losers will play the game for third and fourth place and the winners at 14: 30 hours will play the finals of each of the categories.
