The Governing Board held this week has agreed to initiate and approve the contracting file for the damage repair works in the sports hall and attached areas caused by DANA in September 2019. The tender budget amounts to 215.702,47 euros without taxes and the term of execution of the works is 3 months.
The works, as indicated, will consist of repairing the damage caused by the autumn 2019 storm and affecting the west façade of the pavilion, the precast concrete pieces from which they were overthrown; the north façade, which lost the glass and practically all the aluminum exterior carpentry; and the roof of the facility, which was repaired in an emergency but requires paddling and replacement of some parts.
It is also necessary to act on the interior sports flooring, which has damaged areas and attached secondary and exterior elements, which need replacement and repair.
