Office processing of passports, ID card and NIE Denia remains small. For months now, queues at the door warn of the need to expand both services and location, and it works now the City of Dénia.
The councilman of Interior, Javier Scotto, explained in the plenary session last Thursday, to questions from Miguel Llobell, that the government team is looking for a new location to provide this service in the capital of the Marina Alta.
This search attends to the request made to him from the sub-delegation of government, which requested the help of the consistory to find a location that allows larger template intended to increase this work and improve conditions of service.
Scotto explained that the search focuses on premises that do not involve a cost increase for the municipal coffers, so that when they find the premises that meet all these characteristics will carry forward the transfer of services currently provided in Avenida del Marquesado de Dénia.
Last November, the head of the police station of the National Police in Dénia, Chief Inspector Antonio Cabeza, confirmed that reinforced the staff assigned to tasks for processing documents of foreigners, following complaints from users about the long lines formed on Fridays, only day shifts are distributed to process obtaining documentation for foreigners.
The council will also open soon another place to hand out cards of Democrata.
