Dénia Mayor and Councilor for Tourism, Vicent Grimalt, confirmed after last Thursday's plenary session that, from July 1, it will be the city council that manages the Esplanade Cervantes and the area of El Raset up to the roundabout where the beach begins Punta del Raset.
In this way it will be the City Council that directly manages with the shops the occupation of public roads, which until now controlled Ports. In this regard, the mayor confirmed that this year there will be no changes to the public road occupation ordinance, but that, in the face of the 2017 summer, work will be carried out to regulate the closure of restaurants throughout the area, as well as the number of tables that are authorized to install.
