Mayor press the Ministry to build the National Police Station

The National Police of Denia is back in today. Grimalt has explained to the sub-delegate the will of the City Council to transfer the grounds of Nou d'Octubre street, next to the Palau de Justicia, for the facilities. It should be remembered that the council agreed in 2009 to transfer this plot, of 870,86 square meters, to the State Security Infrastructure and Equipment Management (GIESE) in 2009 to locate a joint National and Local Police station there. Subsequently, in 2012, the municipal government proposed that the building be destined only to the National Police station, since the Local Police has since January 2010 with new facilities, located in Madrigueres Sud, which were adequate with Plan E funds .

The construction of new facilities allow to solve congestion currently suffering the issuing office of DNI, NIE and passport, located away from the central building of the police station.

Gomez has pledged to move the proposal to the Ministry of State Security and has recommended that, in parallel, the council send a letter to the Interior Ministry requesting to rule on whether to carry out the project or resignation.

Grimalt, who was accompanied at the meeting by the Councilor for Citizen Security, Javier ScottoHe has used the meeting to request the assistance of the deputy and expedite procedures the Social Security Treasury on the site of the swap Calle Marques de Campo which housed the former outpatient with the Social Security Treasury.
