Laura Castelblanque is a doctor who has dedicated her life to improving people's health and beauty. 20 years ago, with a great career, Laura founded her own clinic with which to offer innovative skin care services and treatments. 20 years that have helped many people to regain self-confidence.
Today, Laura Castelblanque gives us a very personal and very special interview to learn about her career and thus commemorate the 20 years she has dedicated her life to improving the lives of her patients.
Question: In 2024, Clínica Castelblanque turns 20 years old. First of all, congratulations. What does it mean to you to turn 20 years in Castelblanque?
Answer: Many thanks to you. First of all, I am very grateful for the trust that all our patients have given us year after year. I also feel very satisfied with the process that has brought us here, as a beauty clinic and as the wellness place where a large number of people who continue to trust us come week after week.
Twenty is just a round number, but the important thing is when I look back and see all the effort, but also the mistakes that we have turned into learnings, challenges and also great joyful moments. So, in short, I am very happy with this result.
Q: Your extensive clientele continues to trust you for skin care. What do you think has been the key to maintaining a loyal customer base and, even more so, happy with the results?
R: To retain a patient's loyalty, you not only have to meet their expectations, but exceed them. That has been my purpose with each patient who has visited us: to offer personal and close attention. Of course, I have not always succeeded, but I want to emphasize that the important thing is to have realized it and to have made an effort to change what was not working, give it a spin, improve and move forward.
Q: Surely, you have had to face some challenges these years. What would you say have been the most significant over these 20 years and how has the clinic faced those challenges?
R: And so much! Many challenges, I believe. Any entrepreneur knows what it means to have challenges and be able to overcome them. One of the most complicated moments for us was the COVID-19 pandemic, a challenge from a business perspective and a battle on a personal level, but you know what? From Castelblanque we learn a lot.
It was a moment of crisis, of great uncertainty, that I never imagined could happen. This moment made me grow as a person and I was happily surprised by the humanity shown by the people who helped me when I really needed it. I stay with that, with the friendly faces of the people. And, later, you open the doors of the clinic again and little by little, you see that life is picking up its rhythm again and you come out stronger.
Q: On the other hand, for those who are considering aesthetic treatments, what would be your advice and what can they expect when choosing Castelblanque?
R: The best beauty advice I can give you is to pay attention to yourself. Many times we forget about ourselves and that has consequences in the long run. On the other hand, I always like to do progressive treatments, in which everything is very organic and natural.
Q: At Castelblanque you have a wide variety of aesthetic treatments. Which are the most prominent or the ones you use the most?
R: That's how it is. At Castelblanque we have a wide range of Facial and Body treatments. Plus, I love to always be up to date! Sometimes they tell me that I am very brave for betting on new technologies and innovative treatments in the beauty market, however, it is what motivates me the most.
This year, for example, I have incorporated Morpheus technology, a rejuvenation treatment, both facial and body, with extraordinary results. We have also expanded the eye design treatments, with neuromodelers, personalized eyebrow and eyelash design.
Another novelty are the injectable polynucleotide treatments, biostimulators capable of creating collagen and providing the skin's natural elastin. And I could go on! We do not stand still, we force ourselves to be up to date with everything that research offers and we frequently renew our beauty proposals.
Q: Taking into account this great variety, what are the advantages they can have?
What differentiates us is the personalized and close treatment of our patients. We like to listen to them, give them their space, and treat them closely, understanding what they need and thus providing the best services according to their needs.
Q: Finally, for the reason of these 20 years of Castelblanque, what do you have prepared to celebrate?
R: 20 years! Who would have thought... And of course, we want to celebrate in a big way! We are organizing a great Castelblanque Awards Gala. A gala that we want to dedicate to beauty. A beauty that goes beyond what one can see on the outside. So we're going to give it our all. It will be a very special evening, but I am not going to reveal everything to you, because there will be many surprises!
