Diego Miñana: «I am ambitious and I come to CD Dénia to promote to Third Division»

04 July 2018 - 13: 49

Diego Miñana has been in the Field Diego Mena where he has been officially presented as a coach of the CD Dénia for the 2018-19 season. Miñana after posing for the graphic media posing with a shirt of his new club has been calm before the press.

Have you finally reached the Dénia CD?

Yes, the truth is that it was a spigot that had nailed, since a few seasons ago I spoke with the president but I had a commitment to another club and I could not get to Dénia. This is a team where football is breathed as in the city and that is what all coaches like.

Do you arrive at a totally renewed team that is good or bad?

I'm not sure yet with what players I'm going to tell, I know some information but I have to sit down with Tano Bertó to see how the template is made. Until I know what players are counted, I will not make any valuation.

Are you an ambitious coach in your projects?

When I commit myself with some team I try to give the maximum based on work and that is what I demand from my players. In all the equipment that I have trained I have always looked for the best performance. Dénia is a club where the promotion to Third Division is sought from several seasons and that challenge I like.

Technician friend of the players or rather hard?

I think the best thing is that there is a good balance in this matter. I will defend all the players to the maximum but at the time of directing they know that my hand will not shake when it comes to making decisions that I think are the best for the group.

How do you see Preferred rivals this season?

It's too early to talk about favorites, the templates are not yet closed but it sure will be a season matched as they are all. There are always teams that make good templates to achieve promotion

Is it good or bad that there is so much equipment in Preferential in the area of La Safor and the Marina Alta?

It has its advantages as they are that there is much rivalry and that in both regions move several teams. The worst thing is when hiring players that having so many sets is not easy to sign them. But I think that I have moved by these teams is always good to talk about football in such close places.

Diego Miñana as a teacher is accustomed to dealing directly with young people and will surely be a good conductor of the human group that CD Dénia is making.

With his arrival to the whole of the Marina Alta capital, practically, it can be said that he is the coach that best knows the La Safor teams and Marina Alta herself. Miñana has been coaching in the UE Tavernes, UE Gandía, UD Oliva, Pego CF, now arrives at CD Dénia, with what only the CD is missing Jávea.
