Dismantled in the region of a prostitution ring

A total of fifteen people have been arrested in recent days in Denia, Calpe and Romania accused of trafficking young Romanian for prostitution in Alicante and Madrid. The operation, carried out jointly by the Spanish Police and the Romanian way, was directed by the head judge of the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Dénia.

The prisoners were now under investigation since last 2013 and after a thorough monitoring of their movements, have been identified victims 20 group. Young should provide information about customers and deliver the money raised, money that was used to purchase vehicles before being sold. During the investigation it has proceeded to the closure of several local and blocking of bank accounts.

The detainees in Dénia and Calpe were detained on January 23 and 24 in a first phase of the operation, in which the Civil Guard carried out four simultaneous house searches in the Marina Alta. Five people were arrested there and cash, mobile phones and laptops were seized, among other objects.

The second phase of the operation was carried out last Monday in the region of Ploiesti in Romania, where after making records 17 arrested five others.

This important operation has had the collaboration of an expert from Europol.
