The National Police have dismantled in Dénia a band composed of three individuals who used to commit robberies in malls on request, specifying a price and delivery time.
The initiation of investigations dating back to last March, when members of the National Police Dénia learned of the existence of a criminal group that was devoted to shoplifting in a specialized way.
Apparently, individuals using specific tools for thefts and aluminum forraban clothes to inhibit alarms each center. The gang operated in an organized and very thorough, each of them a specific task.
This group operated in different points of the Spanish geography, especially in the province of Alicante. But it was in Dénia where a police device that culminated with the arrest of three members of the band when they just steal in a mall was established.
When they were arrested, they were seized with labeled clothing, cosmetics and alcoholic beverages, all of which had recently been stolen. They also had a shielded bag to avoid detection by security systems. After the arrests, an investigation was conducted of an address in Gandía, where a large number of objects of illicit origin were intervened, as well as aluminum-lined clothing used by the members of the network to perpetrate the thefts.
The detainees, of Romanian nationality, were imprisoned by order of the Court No. 3 of Dénia as authors of a crime of theft continued.
