Dénia returns to medium risk of contagion, with the highest incidence since the summer

The new update of Public Health data on the evolution of the coronavirus for today, November 19, brings bad news again. If the accumulated incidence in the previous day was 88,50 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, to date it has risen to 110,18 cases. This equals 68 new positives in the region.

To this day, they are active 188 cases. By municipalities we can count the following new cases in the various municipalities of the Marina Alta:

  • Calps: 5
  • Teulada-Moraira: 9
  • Benissa: 2
  • Hit: 4
  • Stone: 2
  • Wavera: 6
  • Gorgos Cat: 1
  • The Verger: 2
  • Benitatxell: 1
  • Xaló: 1
  • Orb: 4
  • Benidoleig: 1
  • Valley of Laguar: 1
  • Gallinera Valley: 1

For its part, Dénia rises again to medium risk of contagion, with a cumulative incidence of 63,04. It should be remembered that this is due to the fact that its incidence is within the range between 50 and 150 cases. The Vall de Laguar and Benidoleig also enter these indices.

On the other hand, they enter high risk of contagions Pedreguer, Orba and Vall de Gallinera. For its part, Teulada-Moraira also rises, in this case at high risk, since its incidence stands at 266.

Currently, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic in the region is 15.031. Regarding deaths, the number remains stable at 211, a positive figure compared to the increase in incidence in recent weeks.
