The Ministry of Health, like every Tuesday, has published updated data on coronavirus infections by departments and municipalities, corresponding to the PCR tests carried out since last Friday.

In the Department of Health of Dénia, on which all the Marina Alta, a slight improvement is appreciated, too slight in the face of the Christmas. 44 new positives of COVID-19 have been added, 6 less than in the last update. In total, there are 1.975 positive since March, 134 in the last two weeks, which leaves the region with an incidence of 78'02 infections per 100.000 inhabitants.

Again a new deceased is added to the list of deaths that tested positive in a PCR test. On this occasion, it is a Calp neighbor. With this, there are already 37 people who have died in the region with coronavirus.

In the case of Dénia, a considerable flattening of the curve continues to be perceived, adding only 7 new cases compared to 10 in the previous update. The 26 cases currently active in the regional capital, detected in the last two weeks, leave it with an incidence of 61'66, lower than that of the Marina Alta. In total, 949 cases have been detected since March.
