A new study created by Azucarera and the consulting firm YouGov on the occasion of the International Day of Happiness (March 20) has revealed which are the happiest towns in Spain and Dénia is among them.
The capital of the Marina Alta It has made it onto the list, specifically in position 14 out of 35. Two other towns in the province of Alicante have also managed to make their way into the ranking: Altea and Calp, in positions 19 and 20, respectively.
More than 1.000 people have participated in the study, but what do the inhabitants of Dénia think about it? Dénia.com takes to the streets to ask the reasons why Dianenses are happy: the beach, the climate, the food and a good atmosphere are the most popular answers.

How happy I am in Dénia seeing and walking through the City Hall works that begin and never end
It makes me happier when in Denia it is impossible to rent a decent home at a reasonable price.
