On the morning of this Friday, the Ministry of Health has updated the data on the situation of the coronavirus by municipalities in which a new rise in positive cases has been registered in the Marina Alta.
The most outstanding data is that there have been two new deaths in recent days, which amounts to 25 the total number of people who have lost their lives due to COVID-19 since the pandemic began. The two deaths have been registered in the population of Dénia.
As for the number of infections, it has risen again compared to the last update. Today 91 new PCR positives are reported in this region, which increases the total to 1.177 infected people, of which 328 correspond to infections in the last 14 days.
By municipalities, Dénia is the population of the Marina Alta that has registered the most infections with a total of 49 confirmed by PCR.
