Dénia attends the 11th meeting of the UNESCO Network of Creative Cities in Enghien-les-Bains (France)

Dénia, as a Creative City of UNESCO Gastronomy, participates in the 30 from June to the 2 of July, in the XI annual meeting of the Network of Creative Cities of UNESCO that is celebrated in the French city of Enghien-les-Bains.

Until the French municipality have moved the mayor and Councilor of Tourism, Vicent Grimalt, The Councilor of Creative City, Pepa Font, And the director of the Office of Innovation and Creativity, Floren Terrades.

During the three days of the Enghien-les-Bains meeting, delegates and experts will present their experiences in plenary sessions or thematic workshops. The meeting will also be an occasion to strengthen the bonds that unite the cities or to undertake new common projects.

UNESCO's Network of Creative Cities is based on the idea that cities inspire and enrich each other, putting their experience in common and at the service of sustainable development. Thus, the UNESCO Creative Cities are also key interlocutors to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations. The Enghien-les-Bains meeting will allow us to renew this commitment.
