The extraordinary plenary session held this afternoon has approved by majority, with the favorable vote of the PSPV, abstaining from Gent of Dénia, Citizens and Compromís and the refusal of Party, the second credit modification for the year 2022, for an amount of 972.847,84 euros, proposed by the Councilor for the Treasury, Paco Roselló, to meet expense items that have increased and that respond to a series of needs "that cannot be delayed until the following year." This increase in expenses will be financed with a charge to the remaining Treasury.
Among the actions that will be carried out with this modification of credits are expenses related to the payment of compensation of 190.500 euros to the concessionaire company of the covered pool due to the suspension of the service during the pandemic, the payment of 431.347,84 euros, in compliance with the ruling, to the previous concessionaire of the vehicle removal service, the trenet and barrier service in the public parking de Les Rotes (€75.000) or the increase in the execution budget in the Valgamedios square, amounting to €40.000.
There are also expenses related to the mobile fleet of the Local Police (rental and repair of vehicles, fuel), technical studies and acquisition of equipment for the urban planning area, Equality programs, building conservation and the contract for the provision of Protection services. Civil, among others.
The second item on the agenda of this extraordinary plenary session proposed a specific modification of the List of Job Posts and organic staff of the city council consisting of the reconversion of 8 administrative assistant positions, who currently already perform higher functions of administrative administration general, in 8 positions of administrative personnel. The creation of these new administrative positions is conditioned to the amortization of the auxiliary positions, therefore, it does not imply an increase in the workforce. The PSPV and Compromís have voted in favor of this modification, Gent de Dénia and Ciudadanos have abstained and the PP has voted against.
