is approaching the Christmas and from the Department of Commerce, you want Dénia to look pretty. To do this, it has called a Christmas decoration contest in shop windows of retail establishments and in Mercat Municipal stalls.
Contestants must be decorated windows from the 1 December to January 6 2015. The deadline for registration of participants began on November 14 and 14 remain open until November 27 hours.
Requests to participate will be held at the Agency for the Promotion of Business Innovation (AFIC), located on the premises of Dénia Creama street 9 d'Octubre.
In the form of retail establishments three awards, of 500, 400 and 200 euros respectively will be awarded. In the category of positions of Municipal Mercat a single prize of EUR 200 is established.
Likewise, a prize from the public, with 200 euros, will be delivered to the shop window that gets the most "likes" on the Facebook page of the Ajuntament de Dénia.
Photo of participants will be screened windows on the wall from the 10 21 December until December 16 hours so that the public can vote.
The jury of this year's contest is composed of representatives of the Department of Trade and specialists in decoration and window dressing. Visits to participating merchants will be held from December 3 5 to.
The jury's verdict will be issued at the ceremony convened for the day 17 December, at 20.30 pm in the Plenary Hall of the City Council of Dénia of retail outlets and stalls of Mercat Municipal awards.
