The company Aguas de Dénia, owned by the Dénia Town Hall and the concessionary company for the management of the integral water cycle, Aqualia, is carrying out the works of the new wastewater pumping station (EBAR) Cagarritar II. The infrastructure will allow the decongestion of the main pumping station in the urban area of Dénia, which in times of high occupancy works at maximum capacity.

The new station, which will collect the wastewater produced in Marines, is located at the intersection of the Les Marines road with Ausiàs March street. The infrastructure is equipped with the latest automation technology and four high-capacity pumps.

The execution of the pumping pit, with a capacity of 100 cubic meters, is highly complex, since it is continuously working several meters below sea level. This leads to the use of shoring to prevent landslides and landslides from the excavated wall, which is around six meters deep.

The total budget for the works is 470.000 euros and includes the execution of the pumping pit, 360-linear-meter drive pipe, electromechanical equipment, installation automation, autonomous electrical supply equipment, legalizations and inspections.
