The public school of La Xara has been accepted to be part of the project Towards New Linguistic Horizons of the program Erasmus + which will be developed until the 2018 / 2019 course. This is a KA1 project (Key Action 1) aimed at teacher training that will improve the development of the plurilingualism program carried out in the center and be trained in the use of new CLIL methodologies in the classroom.
Four teachers will travel to Germany and the United Kingdom to visit different schools and get to know schools, teachers and students firsthand and learn the most from them, a practice known as Job Shadowing. Four other teachers will travel to the United Kingdom and Ireland to undertake deformation courses related to the CLIL methodology and the learning of foreign languages.
From the center they expressed their satisfaction to be part of this European program, which will allow them to create links with centers and teachers from other countries, as well as promote mobility and cooperation between institutions and countries of the European Union and promote the use of materials didactic, thus reinforcing the European dimension between educational centers.
