Cyclist Pepe Domenech proclaimed champion of Spain Open Enduro BTT in M50

The Asturian town of Tuña, in the council of Tineo was the scene of the fourth test of the Spain Open Enduro BTT. The "Big Ride". The dianense, Pepe Domenech, of the UC Montgó-ULB cycling team, attended this event with the need to have to win to be proclaimed champion of the Spain Open Enduro BTT.

Pepe Domenech, came out very concentrated to the test and managed to be the best of its category. He felt close to the spirits of his people who did not stop encouraging him during the entire race.

Domenech was the first classified of its category Master 50 ahead of the Madrid, Jorge Sánchez. After the tests held in Ojén, Castejón de Sos and Tuña, the final classification of the Open of Spain Enduro BTT in this category is as follows.

1 º Pepe Domenech
2 º Jorge Sanchez
3 º Luis Bollain
4 º Fº Jesús Lara
5 º Francisco Nieto

The absolute winner of the race was the Higuey, Javier San Roman, while in the female category the best was, the Malaga, Miriam Alcantara.

In this same test the cyclist Robin Bramley-Moore, finished in the fourth place of the classification Master 30.

"XVII City of Catarroja Trophy"

In the road cycling mode, Samuel Bustos, of the UC Montgó-ULB team, participated in "XVII City of Catarroja Trophy", Test on a route of 61 kilometers in which there were a hundred participants. The winner of the same was the cyclist, Jose Luis Ruiz, ahead of Eric Valiente and Jaime Esteban.

The first positions went to Rubén Cuenca, in Master 40; Antonio Ruiz, in Master 50; José Mezquita, in Master 60, and Miquel López, in Junior category. Miguel Ángel Borja was the first local runner to cross the finish line. In the team classification Juan Giner-Engobe-Oftalvi was ahead of Pool-Technology-Rodríguez and Granja Rinya-Flower, second and third best team, respectively.
