Near 800 people participate in the 5º Solidarity March Dénia.com in favor of CEE Raquel Payá

Around 800 people have participated this Sunday in the 5º Solidarity March in favor of CEE Raquel Payá organized by Dénia.com, a solidarity and sports event that year after year has the support of individuals and companies united by the same cause.

The day began with the registration of those who had not yet done so, gradually shaping a range of people of all ages, baby carts and even pets that did not hesitate to participate in this solidarity walk.

At 10: 00 in the morning, as scheduled, started the race with the start, first, of the runners, who had two laps ahead of an urban circuit of a total of 6'7 km. After them the walkers took the exit, who made a return to the route, completing a total of 3'3 km.

The first to cross the finish line was Moha Rida, of the Club Atletisme Llebeig, who with a time of 22 minutes 55 seconds was proclaimed the winner of this fifth edition of the race in favor of the Raquel Payá school. The first of the girls was Elia Durà, from Club Atletisme Dianium, who completed the circuit in 30 minutes 44 seconds.

After the delivery of trophies, we proceeded to draw a score of gifts thanks to the collaboration of several companies in the region between the participating numbers.

Finally, the Shopping Center Portal de la Marina, who already announced that he would donate an extra euro per participant, announced that he will donate 800 euros to the center this year. In the next few days we will know the total amount of this year's collection, which will go entirely to the Raquel Payá Special Education Center.
