La Sella Golf celebrated the XXVII Anniversary of its inauguration in style with a vibrant event that, apart from a golf tournament and the subsequent congregation of more than 200 people around a giant gazpacho of an authentic record and a concert, served to reaffirm this field of Marina Alta as one of the great references of Spanish and European golf.
Designed in its day by José María Olazábal, La Sella Golf It has 27 holes, which distinguishes it as the largest course on the Costa Blanca.
Also worth noting is its Golf School -composed from 2016 within the Dénia Municipal Sports School plan-, where hundreds of children learn to play annually, with special mention for the passage of Leticia Ras-Anderica, Natasha Fear and Carla Herrero, Golf pro and amateurs within the renowned Spanish, respectively golf.
This field has been designated as the headquarters for technical concentrations of the highest level, with the presence of the national youth golf teams, as well as organizing the Final of the Lacoste Circuit Promises, the End of the PGA Youth National League, Campbell Lamont Golf and Orientation Conference Rookies of the Ladies European Tour, an initiative promoted by the Ladies European Tour Professional.
In the sports field of this 27th Anniversary of La Sella Golf, the performance of Carla Herrero -component of the national golf teams-, Andrew Douglas and Severino González, the most outstanding in their respective categories, who received their deserved prizes from of Pepe Bañó and Carlos García.
