Good start to the year for the cyclists of the training, Multiesport-UCMontgó, in the first race of the year 2018 that played in the Valencian town of Canet de Berenguer.
A race that was quick warning did not disappoint, the cyclists wanted to march and managed to mark an average speed of 44km / h when completing the 17 laps of 3'6 km on a semi-urban circuit.
The test characterized by multiple attempts to escape from the first round, was marked by the narrow marking that was in the main platoon. The strongest men rolled at a very high pace so as not to allow any of the escape attempts to consolidate.
The activity of the Multiesport-UCMontgó team focused on the flying goals disputed by Juanmi Arroyo and Xexo García as well as the incessant positioning at the head of the race by the other members of the formation. On the negative side highlight an unfortunate puncture suffered by Francesc that prevented him from finishing the test.
On the other hand, in a test held in Petrer, R. Garcia Pedrosa managed to finish in the front of the main pack after a tough test that declined many runners not to start because of the poor condition of the terrain that ran.
