The regional association Amunt Against Cancer has organized, for the 11 day of May, a day on research and life expectancy in cancer patients.
The day is aimed at patients, students, researchers, health personnel and citizens in general, and will be taught in the Municipal House of Culture Denia.
Its objectives include publicizing the lines of research on cancer in the Valencian Community; present the different oncological treatments that are dispensed in the Marina Alta; encourage collaboration between the different groups involved in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients; and make the public aware of the importance of research.
The day will begin with the presentation of the basic research lines at the Hospital Clínico de Valencia, INCLIVA and Hospital de Dénia, and will include workshops in which the treatment of patients, personal care and assistance will be addressed.
