On Tuesday afternoon, around the 19: 30 hours, a fire originated in the municipality of Pedreguer, in an area close to La Sella. Until the scene of the events were mobilized, as reported by the 112, two aerial means, two brigades of the Generalitat Valenciana, a prevention unit and two vehicles of the Provincial Fire Brigade of Alicante.
Fortunately, the fire did not increase and only 0,05 hectares of hedges near a residential area burned. At 21: 20 hours the fire was considered controlled without having to regret personal or material damages.
