The initiative launched by the Rotary Club Dénia with the dispute of its "V charity golf tournament"that was disputed in the field of La Sella Golf it was a huge success. It was possible to raise almost 2.000 euros contributed by the 60 players. The proceeds will go to charitable causes.
In the 9 hole, in addition, Dino Ferrer, professional of La Sella, who made his personal contribution with a 'Win the Pro'also with the objective of raising funds. Among those who managed to overcome him, a trip to the Balearic Islands was raffled off courtesy of Baleària, whose winner was Chimo Torres.
Sports competition in the different categories was very noticeable throughout the whole day, with special mention for young Carla Herrero, With flaming 39 points won in the female category.
For its part, the winner of the first male category was Chimo Garcia, 42 points, while the second best male category was Brian Clark-Sutton, with 33 points.
After the competition a lunch with awards in Hoyo 19 Restaurante La Sella Golf, currently used by the president of Dénia Rotary Club, Anabel Romera was held to acknowledge the tremendous participation of sponsors, their contribution awards this tournament and their selfless support to Rotary's cause.
