Farewell tears in the last ordinary plenary session of the Dénia legislature

Like every last Thursday of the month, no matter how much electoral campaign we are immersed in, it was time for ordinary plenary session. May's. Without exception. And it has been, without a doubt, the most emotional plenary session of the legislature, since it has been the last for many of the councilors from different groups.

María Mut, Óscar Mengual, Maite Pérez, Elisabet Cardona and Eva Ronda. They have been one of the most visible faces of different formations, some have also been in charge of various municipal departments. What unites them, however, is that they have taken a step back and will cease to be representatives of Dénia.

The plenary session has passed normally, until the time for questions and requests. There the emotions have exploded and many have not been able to hold back the tears. The interventions of each group have served to review the legislature, remember anecdotes and say goodbye to those already named. In fact, they themselves have taken the floor to say goodbye, wishing each other the best and thanking them for their work and collaboration, regardless of the colors of the formation.
