Next Monday, July 24, 2023, at 19:00 p.m., the Alicante 6-2020 Recent Architecture Exhibition, which compiles the 2021 projects, will be inaugurated at the headquarters of the College of Architects in Dénia at Carrer La Mar, 32. selected by a jury.
The jury was made up of: Enrique Abad Monllor, Head of the Department of Culture of the CTAA, Javier Esteban Garballo, Architect, Professor of architectural projects at the School of Architecture of Zaragoza, Enrique Fernéndez Vivancos González, Architect, Paula Franco Sánchez, Member of Culture of the CTAA -that year. And Javier García Solera Vera, who was the architect proposed by the participants.
The exhibition, which will remain on display until August 14, will count on the opening day, with the presence of the architects whose studios belong to the demarcation of the Marina Alta. It will also feature a presentation in Pecha kucha format (presentation format of 20 slides explained in 20 seconds each) by the architects Francisco Oria Montalt, author of Casa Chari, one of the works selected in the exhibition, located in Gata de Gorgos.
In addition, the architects Jorge Frías Montes and Irene Zurdo Prieto from the JI studio will also participate, for the “Las Cuadras” house, a temporary retreat for a photographer and his large animals. The project arises as a commission from
rehabilitation of some old horse stables that finally become a temporary retirement place for a photographer and his horses.
The event is also the presentation of the new Member of the demarcation Josefa del Valle Cabrera who took office after the elections to the Governing Board of the College of Architects last May.
The act will end with a toast of honor to be able to talk with the architects about these projects. The projects denote excellence and quality, many of them also respond to sustainability parameters.
