The City Council starts cleaning work on the coast
The Gloria storm that visited us at the beginning of the week left devastating images throughout the Dianense coast, with unrecognizable beaches and multiple impassable roads. The City Council, in order to restore normality as soon as possible, began cleaning and repairing the damage on Tuesday.
In Les Marines, work has already been done with shovels to remove the sand accumulated on the access paths to the beaches so that the water can flow and does not remain stagnant. In addition, fallen tree branches have been removed from public roads and the parks of La Marineta, the Chabás park and the Torrecremada garden have been rehabilitated, as well as the removal and replacement of signage damaged by the storm.
After the electricity brigade also solved the damage suffered by the lighting, cleaning work began today in the Marineta Cassiana, from the access roundabout to the marina to the Marge Roig. Two shovels and a truck have been assigned to remove the sand and debris removed by the sea and accumulated on the promenade.
