The contract of the concessionary company for the cleaning and maintenance of the beaches de Dénia, Pavasal, which expires on February 28, includes a series of improvements related to the coastal area that the company must carry out. For this reason, and before the end of the concession, work has been undertaken to repair the damage to the Paseo de Les Rotes, in the Punta Negra and Pegolí sections, which have already been completed. The workers have sealed the holes created between the stones of the promenade, an element that could be dangerous for pedestrians.
In addition, two new access walkways have been installed; one on the Raset beach and the other at the access to Rascló street, on the les bovetes, in the form of concrete walkways covered with rough material, which replace the previous wooden walkways. Later on, it is planned that one of these footbridges will be located in the Marineta Cassiana.
The purchase of two wooden houses has also been considered in these improvements, at a cost of 12.000 euros, which become the property of the Dénia City Council. These booths, initially installed in order to host environmental awareness and dissemination activities, will be used, as has been done in recent years, for the Biblioplaya book lending service, with two locations: Marineta Cassiana and the beach of delivery notes
All these improvement actions have involved a total investment of 70.000 euros.
