A map shows where Dénia was in the supercontinent Pangea

20 June 2018 - 07: 59

About 300 million years ago, the planet Earth was formed by a single supercontinent, Pangea. This mass of land fragmented with the passage of time to become the seven continents we know today, and continues its course.

But, despite the fragmentation of that supercontinent, technology now allows us to know where any city was located 200 million years ago.

Is a tool developed by the most important database on dinosaurs that shows a virtual Earth and allows us to discover what our planet was like through the different historical periods.

The history of Dénia is "only" about 2000 years old, but thanks to this tool we can know where it was located, exactly, in eras such as the Paleozoic or Mesozoic, when it emerged from the waters as part of that supercontinent.
