Three ambassadors of Dénia's cuisine who have already left us will be present again these Fallas
The Port-Rotes fault last Saturday paid tribute in the Sala Multiespai l'Androna to three chefs who have already disappeared but who left their inimitable mark on the gastronomy and hospitality industry of Dénia. Now, thanks to the commission, they will have their own ninots for these Fallas.
Port-Rotes presented last Saturday the sketches of the monuments that will be planted at the end of Marqués de Campo in March, in a gala that wanted to pay tribute to three of the most relevant people in Dianense cuisine and who have left us in recent years: Diego Mena, Pepe "El Pegolí" and Jaime Gavilà. The cooks will be present during this year's Josefinas festivities with the ninots that the commission has designed.
A tribute that the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, has applauded in a publication through his social networks where he described the work as "a very beautiful figure that pays tribute from the denier feeling to our "Wise Men" of the kitchen."
