Podem propose that Denia is a city free of GMOs

The circle of Podem Dénia agreed in its last assembly to present a motion to the plenary session of the City Council for the city to be declared a City Free of GMOs. All this, after the colloquium talk that took place this week in which the knowledge and ignorance of transgenic foods were on the table.

In addition to this decision, the assembly agreed to ratify its support for the network of Solidarity Cities to which the City Council joined in the past plenary session and the attendees were informed of the progress in the land bank project and the meeting with the councilor of environment Josep Crespo.

In the round of questions and prgeuntas various topics for the next meeting between found a debate on the TTIP, conducting workshops on organic farming, the confluence with other forces for social and participatory work locally launched and the active participation of the circle in the Moviment per la Pau.
