Marina Dénia launches a new innovative nautical project
The Marina Dénia Charter Base was born from the merger of two companies located in the port, Velas y Viento and Náutica Corcho, supported by the Marina Dénia Sports and Tourist Port. The aim of this nautical project is to promote an expanding sector such as the rental of pleasure boats. “When Carlos and Kiko came to present the idea to us, we did not hesitate to support them. From our port we will be able to offer an innovative and first-class nautical offer ”, says Gabriel Martínez, director of Marina Dénia.
The Charter Base is aimed at a customer profile who wants to live a unique leisure experience. You can rent first class sailing and motor boats, with or without a skipper. You will have several shuttle services at your disposal to connect the areas of Valencia and Alicante by land and by sea with Ibiza and Formentera. Base Charter is also a nautical training center for obtaining official pleasure craft qualifications. Starting in October there will be a calendar full of activities to discover the passion of the sea. La Sella Golf has also joined the project, so a third shuttle will take customers who so wish to the golf course.
To start the project, the Marina Dénia team participated yesterday in a nautical event, with a navigation on two sailboats from Dénia to Xàbia.
