The traditional night of San Juan takes the beaches of Dénia

One of the traditions more and more people our birthday is definitely the night of San Juan. Dénia beaches last night witnessed the devotion of the dianenses and tourists this tradition. From early afternoon groups of families and friends took their places at the seashore, prepared their campfires and shared a night full of magic.

Puntuales a la cita, cuando el reloj dio la medianoche todos se acercaron al agua para mojar sus pies. Saltar siete olas, pedir innumerables deseos, quemar lo que se quiere dejar atrás… Los rituales son variados y diferentes, pero todos con elementos comunes: el fuego y el agua purificadores.
