Javier Mahiques, from Dénia Corre, was second in the Xàbia Cross

The athlete Javier Mahiques, from Dénia Corre, was participating in the Xàbia Cross that took place in the Pinosol park. He took part in the senior category of 3.000 meters away on a ground circuit to which the participants took 5 turns. Mahiques entered the second position in goal completing a great race.

On the other hand, several athletes from the same club participated in the Turn to Pau Santa Cecilia which was played in Cullera. The participants had to cover a distance of 7 kilometers along the banks of the Xúquer River. The test was hard as it blew a lot of cold wind that was annoying for the runners. Carlos Sánchez finished the race with a time of 25.56 and Martí Sifré in 29.18.
