The Real Club Náutico Dénia celebrated the 'Member's Day' with good humor and party

The Real Club Náutico Dénia celebrated last Saturday the "Member Day", a special day for the members of the club that started with the blue flag raising to make way for sports and evening fun.

The bad weather forced to postpone the Regatta "Peret i Marieta" scheduled for 11 morning hours. At 16: 30 hours in the afternoon, they took the exit, on the one hand the boats of the class Crucero and Vela Ligera that made the traditional route of Las Rotas "Melchor y Gracia" and inside the port of Dénia, the veterans on board of the smallest boats of the club, the optimist, a regatta more than fun in which laughter does not give way to concentration.

The Light Veil podium went to Marcos Ortega and Toni Gil, Isabel Santoñanzas and José López and the third ones, Davide Burcio and Javi Martínez Mir.

The sailor, María Eugui collected, for the fourth consecutive year, the trophy of the "Veterans Regatta", followed by her husband, Juanma Calvente and Javier López "The fog"As a third classified.

The boat "Anthime", was the winner of the regatta "Melchor y Gracia", a test framed in the activities that the Real Club Náutico Dénia prepares annually to celebrate the "Partner Day".

In this regatta for the Cruise class held on the traditional route of Les Rotes, the second place was for the boat "Magopepo", with the boat "Ozone", the third classified.

Paellas Contest

At 20 hours the most exciting moment of the night arrived, the paella "Member's Day". Highlight the great participation with a total of 40 paellas filled the esplanade of the Dianense club, between appetizers and snacks.

After a long deliberation and high scores, "Sanchimenos", Octavio March's team won the prize for the best paella of the night, David Fernández's team "Kayak 2"Achieved the second and the"Board of Directors"With Nicolás Candela as Head, won the third.

A full, fun and social day that ended with the presentation of trophies to the winners, in which Jaime Portolés, president of the Real Club Náutico Dénia; Juan Riera, Vice President, Toño Carmona, commodore, Juanma Calvente, sailing vocalist; Juan Ferrer Salines, fishing vocalist and Nicolás Candela and Toñi Simó, members of the Board of Directors.
