The closest project for the Marqués de Campo site: The jury's deliberation ends

The new green space on Calle Marqués de Campo is getting closer to being a reality. Today the jury of the project competition has met to convert the plot of the Marqués de Campo street into a public park and green area, a contest called by the Dénia City Council with the advice and collaboration of the Territorial College of Architects of Alicante (CTAA ).

The presentation of proposals ended on August 3 and this morning, at the Library of Dénia, the members of the jury have opened and reviewed the 15 projects presented.

The action has a material execution budget of 350.000 euros and the winner of the contest will be awarded with the writing of the project and its subsequent technical direction, with a fee of 31.500 euros. In addition to 3.000 euros for the first place in the contest.

The second and third classified will also receive prizes, with amounts of 2.000 and 1.000 euros, respectively.

Jury deliberates Solar Marqués de Campo projects

The jury is made up of Cristina Valls, architect and member of the CTAA Governing Board; Ignacio Martínez-Ridruejo, specialist in landscaping appointed by the CTAA; Nacho Díez, agronomist and landscape engineer; Luís Martínez, municipal architect; and Vicent Grimalt, mayor of Dénia.

The jury will now submit the minutes of its deliberation to the City Council Secretariat to continue with the process.
