The PP of Dénia surrounds himself with supporters to present his "government of change" led by Pepa Font and backed by Carlos Mazón
Pepa Font's candidacy for the Mayor's Office of Dénia muscled up at a dinner in which the popular candidate not only met with her team and supporters, but also had the support of the party leader in the Valencian Community, Carlos Mazón. This was the act chosen by the PP of Dénia to show in more detail what will be their program with which they choose to recover the government of the city.
Both Font and Mazón were very optimistic with a possible favorable result in the 28M elections in Dénia. The government that the PP promises is the "government of change", a mantra repeated throughout the evening. A change in the face of what Mazón considers as "eight years of abandonment", not only pointing out the PSPV government at the local level, but also the attention received by the autonomous government of Ximo Puig. Well, let's not forget that we are also at the gates of the regional elections and it is also their pre-campaign.
The changes offered by Pepa Font range from the most impressive and, in a way, grandiloquent, such as the Estación de la Rosaleda project, to small actions with which she wants to improve the entire city. Because Font believes that the neighborhoods have been abandoned over the years, because, according to popular belief, Grimalt has governed only for the center of the city. And she promises projects to carry out in the other districts so as not to repeat that same mistake.

The flagship project continues to be the Estación de la Rosaleda, whose sketch even decorated the room where dinner took place, displayed on large panels. He hadn't saved any ace up his sleeve for tonight. With this project, Font seeks to regain the trust of the public, offering them a bus station in the current blue zone car park in front of the train station, where there will be a high-rise car park for 350 vehicles.
It has also shown interest in promoting social welfare areas, promoting the creation and adaptation of facilities such as day centers or other spaces for the elderly. And she promised that if she governed, she would put a stop to the controversial demarcation of Costas.
"Only a combination of Pepa Font and the government of change will give Dénia what it deserves, with a team that wants to work and a clear and honest project," defended Carlos Mazón, showing his support for the Dénia candidate. In addition, he stressed that the PP's candidacy for Mayor is a group of people committed to their city and willing to work for what Dénia needs. "I can't think of a better team to work for this town."
In this way, supported by her team, Pepa Font becomes the third candidate for mayor of the city to show her program. A program that he hopes will be enough for the formation to recover from the latest results, since in 2019 it was the third most voted force with only a quarter of the votes reached by the Socialists. But her project is not just to improve, but to win. Anyway, the PP has already shown its hand.
