Dénia Hospital receives the TOP20 award for the best Global Hospital Management

The Dénia Hospital has been awarded with 2 TOP20 awards in the categories of Global Hospital Management and in the area of ​​the Nervous System as well as having been a finalist in the area of ​​the Musculoskeletal System. The TOP20 awards are based on quality, performance and efficiency indicators and recognize good practices in the sector.

The awards, which were also received by the university hospitals of Vinalopó and Torrejón, also from the Ribera Group, were delivered last Tuesday by the Regional Secretary of Public Health and the Public Health System of the Ministry of Health, Ms. Isaura Navarro, during the XXII edition of the Hospital Conference that IQVIA organizes annually and in which 150 public and private Spanish hospitals participate. The award was collected by the Managing Director of the Department of Health of Dénia, Luis Carretero, who has pointed out "the importance of the award since it values ​​the quality of health care provided to the population and is a recognition of excellence of the work of the professionals ”to whom he thanked their effort and dedication since,“ without them, we would not have gotten this far ”.

Hospitals TOP20 is a program that evaluates clinical-care results with objective indicators and values ​​the quality, operation and efficiency of hospital management. It is an index that collects the best results of each process in those centers that perform it best.

Dénia Hospital TOP20 Award

With more than 20 years of history, TOP 20 Hospitals is the benchmark program in the Spanish healthcare environment. Over the years, it has had the participation of more than 250 hospitals. This program conducts research annually that is evaluated by a Scientific Commission made up of various academic and clinical authorities, etc. and an Advisory Commission made up of representatives of the different health services. The Scientific Commission acts as an advisory body for the technical, methodological and scientific aspects of the project to gradually introduce improvements in this area.
