The Puerto Deportivo Marina de Dénia has everything ready for the celebration, this weekend, of the VIII Dénia Boat Show. This week has been confirmed that the inauguration will be borne by the Director General of the Marina Mercante, Rafael Rodríguez.
This consolidated event will open on Friday, May 1 to 11 in the morning and provides a unique opportunity to see a complete showcase of all developments in the sector. Shipyards, naval electronics companies, specialist companies in nautical tourism and textile and numerous organizations dedicated to auxiliary navigation services will be present in the sample with a wide range of boats, services and related products.
In addition to the activities that are planned for all audiences, Alex Pella, only Spanish sailor who has won a solo ocean race, will give a talk on Saturday 2 May at 11 hours. Pella show through his experience in a documentary last Route du Rhum and also discuss how he is preparing his upcoming participation in the Vendée Globe.
VIII Dénia Boat Show will also host an exhibition of underwater photographs of Luis Pérez that can be seen in a stand of the Environment- Marine and Fisheries Service located in the Marina de Dénia.
In the stand also will be available on different material disclosure whale watching off the coast of the city and the rich marine ecosystem of the Reserve of the Cap de Sant Antoni.
Likewise, those who come to the Boat Show this weekend, will have the opportunity to take guided tours by boat to the marine reserve, also organized by the Environmental Service -Marino y Pesca, completely free of charge, at the following times: 9; 10.30; 12 pm and 13.30 pm, from Friday the 1st to Sunday the 3rd, both days included.
