The Dénia Health Department has 15 new residents

The Dénia Hospital hosted the welcoming ceremony for the new Resident Internal Doctors –MIR- and the EIR –Resident Internal Nurse- to the Dénia Health Department –DSD-. The institutional act was chaired by the Commissioner of the Department of Health, Juan Puig; the Director of Assistance of the DSD, Pedro Clemente; the Director of Care and Services, Natalia Casado and the Head of Studies and President of the Teaching Commission, Mª Carmen Estruch.

The new residents are 13 MIRs and 2 EIRs, who will be trained in the DSD over the next few years. With regard to the medical part, the residents will be divided into the different specialties they have chosen: 2 in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation; 2 in Internal Medicine; 1 in Gynecology and Obstetrics and 8 in Family and Community Medicine. The 2 EIRs correspond to the specialty of Gynecology, as midwives.

At the moment, and with these new incorporations, there are a total of 51 residents, between MIR and EIR, receiving training in the DSD.
