The Consell asks the Supreme Court for the endorsement to perpetuate the curfew and limit meetings and the capacity of places of worship

The Generalitat Valenciana has just informed the media that they have requested the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community to endorse the new measures against COVID-19 that affect fundamental rights that are expected to be applied once the state of alarm, next May 9.

Specifically, these measures seek to perpetuate the curfew while reducing the limitation of night mobility. The idea of ​​the Consell is to start at 00:00 and continue until 06:00. That is, delay the start of the curfew by two hours.

In addition, it also seeks the support of the body to continue with the limit of participants in social gatherings, both in private and public spaces. Regardless of whether it is indoors or outdoors, they want to set the limit at 10 participants (to date it remained at a maximum of 6).

In the same way, they have also presented to the Supreme Court their intention to limit the capacity in places of worship. In this case, if approved by the Justice, 75% of the total capacity could be used.

For the moment, they are the only measures that could enter after the fall of the state of alarm to which the Generalitat has referred. Nevertheless, It has been announced that they also raise others such as the increase in the hours allowed in the hospitality industry.
