The health center, public transport and garbage, the main complaints of the Consell Veïnal de Dénia

Representatives of the associations of Baix la Mar, Bassetes, Deveses, Montgó and Roques, which make up the Federation of Dénia neighborhood associations, attended the last Neighborhood Participation Council held in the Portelles Participation Space.

The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Pepe Doménech, explained what the new edition of Participatory Budgets scheduled for September 2022 will be like and the Councilor for Territory and Urban Quality, Maria Josep Ripoll, gave an account of the status of the pending projects of the two previous editions, which will be executed within this year. She also took the opportunity to report on the status of the General Structural Plan and the investments in public works planned for this year.

Next, the councilor for Ecological Transition, Maite Pérez, gave an account of the novelties of the garbage contract, regarding the services that have been implemented and those that the Urbaser company will still take a few months to have fully operational due, as justified by the company. , to the global supply crisis.

Complaints about chaos in public transport

Christine Huc, as spokesperson for the Federation of Dénia Neighborhood Associations, presented the points that constitute the priority and urgent concerns of the residents of Dénia. These points, for which the federation asks the council for its support in search of solutions, are: the deficiencies of public health from primary care; the "chaos" that Dénia is experiencing due to the lack of sufficient public transport and the insufficient frequency of some lines; the garbage collection contract and the cleaning of the ravines in view of the weather situation and the danger of fires.

Bassetes: cleaning problems in restaurant containers

Bassetes representative, Marilín Bertó, requested solutions to the problems of saturation, cleanliness and odors of the containers used by the restaurants. The Councilor for Ecological Transition reported on the implementation of the HORECA door-to-door collection service that will solve these deficiencies as establishments join.

Les Roques: noise problem in Calle Loreto

The president of the Roques neighborhood association, Emilio Gea, focused on the noise problem on Loreto street and requested information on the custom of feeding cats in the streets.

Toni Arbona, from Baix la Mar, pointed out the need to install roundabouts on Les Marines road, at least on Rap street and at the Fernando restaurant.

Christine Huc from the Montgó neighborhood association requested a general evacuation plan from the Montgó and that the council take this point into account, which, she recalled, appears in its electoral program.
