The City Council of Dénia has commissioned the emergency purchase of 25 tablets with an internet connection that will be delivered to students in the city who do not have computer means in their homes with which to continue their training electronically while the confinement lasts.

With this measure, the city council completes the allocation of tablets that the Ministry of Education has carried out. It has been the Dénia institutes themselves that, before the offer to make the necessary resources available to them made by the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, and the Councilor for Education, Melani Ivars, in the meeting they held earlier in the week, they have communicated the need to have 20 more tablets to guarantee coverage to all secondary, high school and training cycle students in Dénia. The city council, however, will acquire 25 units in case some other need arises later.

The processing of the purchase and delivery of the tablets to the institutes will take place over the next few days, with the idea that when classes resume after the school holidays of Easter and Easter, all the students are already equipped.

The tablets will be delivered to students on loan with the same conditions required by the Ministry of Education.
