The City Council agrees to purchase CO2 meters for dianenses classrooms

The mayor, Vicent Grimalt, and the Councilor for Education, Melani Ivars, held a coordination meeting this morning with the directors of the city's schools and institutes to face the start of this new quarter, which continues to be marked by the context of the health crisis.

According to the Councilor for Education, this type of meetings, which have been happening since the beginning of the pandemic and which allow the sharing of information, concerns and experiences, "It is very interesting to create, at the local level, a union and effective coordination between the members of the educational sector of Dénia".

In today's meeting, the needs of each center have been put on the table so that, from the Department of Education, those that are within its competence are carried out.

For example, today it has been agreed, at the request of the representatives of the centers, that the city council acquire CO₂ meters for the classrooms, a technology that allows to know the quality of the air and, therefore, when it is necessary to renew it in a space closed so that the risk of contagion goes down. The city council will invest around 3.000 euros in the purchase.
