The 1,5% Cultural of the Ministry will allow to restore the Verger Baix and the Tower of the Galliner of the Castle of Dénia
The rehabilitation project of the Verger Baix and the Torre del Galliner del Castillo de Dénia has received a grant from the 1,5% Cultural program of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda that will assume 75% of the total cost of the restoration.
This suppose 491.376 euros for Dénia after the General Directorate of Urban Agenda and Architecture has approved the grant application that the Dianense consistory had requested. Regarding the The remaining 25%, 163.792 euros, will be assumed by the consistory with part of the European New Generation funds.
The restoration project is in the drafting phase and the execution may soon be put out to tender. These future actions in the Castle of Dénia will be added to the restoration of the part known as Verger Alt and the eastern bastion, which has been completed this year and has been co-financed by the City Council and the Generalitat.
