From this week until September 8, the six 'falleras' of the traveling exhibition "Valencianes per la Igualtat" launch their messages of empowerment and sisterhood from the Plaza de la Constitución, at the foot of Dénia City Hall: " Advance with equality", "Together we are strong", "Les gifts de hui ens construïm"...
"Valencianes per la Igualtat" is an initiative that has already visited towns such as Valencia and Gandia. The Councilor for Equality and Diversity, Javier Scotto, explained in his presentation the objective of awareness-raising and visibility actions such as this one. “Public spaces cannot be neutral or neutral; they have to have a gender perspective, diversity and be filled with culture to raise awareness », he stressed.
In addition, he has indicated that this exhibition "adds" to the work for inclusive parties that the Dénia City Council has been developing for a long time in collaboration with the city's festive entities.
In this case, given the theme of the exhibition, the representatives of the Fallera Local Board have joined the presentation: the president, Jaume Bertomeu, and the Falleras Mayores, Aida Gavilà and Noa Dacosta, as well as other members of the board and the courts of honour.
