Dénia doubles the number of infections and the incidence in four days

The new update of the Ministry of Health shows a new record of infections in the Marina Alta within the fifth wave. In the last four days the region has registered a total of 343 infections compared to the 292 positives that were detected the previous day. With the new cases, the cumulative incidence stands at 571,4 cases per 100.000 inhabitants, which continues to be at extreme risk of contagion.

With regard to the situation in Dénia, the town has added 84 new cases, compared to 48 last Friday, thus accumulating 3.395 positives since March 2020, of which 182 are active. Regarding the incidence, it continues increasing in the capital of the region, standing at 424,97 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
